Development Services

The Development Services Department provides service to commercial and residential development, including complete support from beginning to end of the process for these areas. Development Services brings together the professionals needed to help streamline the process of rezoning, platting, and obtaining permits and inspections.

The staff is dedicated to providing excellent customer service by offering professional and timely service. They provide essential information to the public concerning City Codes and Ordinances, along with overseeing:

  • Inspections
  • Occupational licensing
  • Planned Unit Developments (PUDs)
  • The process of platting
  • Zoning
