Keep Collinsville Beautiful
2022 Earth Day Clean Up
This year’s community clean up event will take place around EARTH DAY from Thursday, April 21 to Saturday, April 23, 2022. We will also be offering the citizens of Collinsville FREE Dumpsters to dispose of unwanted items and trash. We will also be offering E-waste and tire pick up through the M.e.t. Recycling Center. The E-Waste and Tire recycling pickup will take place exclusively on April 22 at the Veterans Community Center.
The Community clean-up is organized by the City of Collinsville through a partnership with GRDA, Farm Hippie Farmers Market, the Cherokee Nation District 13, the M.e.t. and Tulsa County.
The Earth Day Clean Up Event is focused on our community— an entire day dedicated to supporting business owners and beautifying Collinsville with the help of many dedicated volunteers!
Do you have a project at your business or organization that you’d like volunteer support for? Whether it’s reorganizing your inventory, painting walls or fun murals on your storefront, removing trash, or freshening up an outdoor courtyard/green space, no project is too small. Do you have suggestions on ways to keep Collinsville clean and beautiful? Use the Earth Day Clean Up Project Submission for below to submit your project needs and ideas before the deadline of March 25, 2022.
Those who wish to volunteer for Collinsville Earth Day Clean Up can use this form:
This year, each registered volunteer will be provided with their own kit of tools to effectively participate in the clean-up efforts throughout our community, not for just one day, but year-round. Each kit will contain: one reusable bag, one trash grabber, one safety vest, one pair of gloves, and about four garbage bags. Our hope is to empower our community to continue clean-up efforts year-round by providing the basic tools required for the job.
Volunteers will register for a Clean Up Kit to be picked up at Farm Hippie Farmers Market located at 1117 W. Main Street by the participant. Participants will head out into their neighborhood or their assigned project, collect the litter they see, and post a photo on City of Collinsville Facebook page or on their personal profile with the hashtag #CollinsvilleEarthDayCleanUp2022, #KeepCollinsvilleBeautiful,
